This mixed-texture dress is inspired by a stereotypical American breakfast, complete with bacon, pancake, syrup, and whipped cream.
The flared bodice panel is Silk Dupion with an original graphic pattern. The waistband and attached neck trim are aniline dyed top grain leather. PVC is used for the bodice flares attached to the hem of the waistband. The layers of the skirt are made of viscose satin and constructed using Jabara techniques to mimic the puffiness of pancakes.
